Faculty Bio:

Name: Allison Golz
Currently Teaching: 2nd and 3rd Grade
Education Concordia University Chicago - BA in Education 2002, Lutheran Teacher Diploma, K-9 Teaching Certificate, Graduated from college with Magna Cum Laude Honors.
Areas of Responsibility: 2nd Grade Teacher, newspaper club, play organ for chapel, direct Cherubs. Involved with Zion as a member of the Board of Parish Education and sing in the adult choir.
Why do I love to teach? I've wanted to be a teacher since third grade. My parents, along with the teachers I had at Concord, inspired me to be a teacher. I love teaching my students and learning from them. The best thing about teaching is when students learn something for the very first time, and then go on to apply what they learned to other situations.
Hobbies: Playing the organ, reading. I collect fractured fairy tale books.
